My practice focuses on evaluating for learning disabilities, ADHD, and social/emotional disorders. I often see children and adolescents who are struggling in school due to difficulties with learning, visual and auditory processing, focus, and executive functioning (e.g., trouble with planning/organization and study skills). I also see kids who are struggling with anxiety, sad or irritable moods, and social skill deficits. I am skilled at examining the complex interplay among these factors and their impact on school achievement and overall well-being.
Following testing, I am pleased to offer additional parent consultation to help families find the right fit for therapists, academic tutors, and educational advocates. I will also help families implement behavioral strategies at home, such as tailored reward systems to improve their child’s focus, organization, compliance, and emotional functioning (such as anxiety management, behavioral activation, and social skills practice).
